Café Boulud Palm Beach (www.cafeboulud.com/palmbeach/) is getting an early jump on Oktoberfest. The famed restaurant inside The Brazilian Hotel is hosting an Oktoberfest – Beer Garden Celebration on Sept. 25 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Presented at the tasting will be Cigar City, Tequesta Brewing, the Twisted Trunk and Barrel of Monks. Good Gourd, Florida Cracker, Three Fates and Der Chancellor will be among the featured brews. This locally inspired beer tasting event will include small plates created by Chef Rick Mace that will highlight the versatility of imaginative food and beverage pairings that will include:
Station 1 – Raw Bar
Rappahannock River Oysters and Clams, Mussels, Marinated Squid
Traditional Sauces and Alsatian Tarte Flambee
Station 2 – Signature Sausages
Thai Links, Boudin Noir, Beaujolais, Vermonter and Chorizo
Station 3 – DBGB sliders
The Yankee, The Piggie, and The Frenchie
Station 4 French Tarts and American Pies
Tarte Normande, Tarte de Linz, Salted Peanut Butter Pie and Maple Custard Pie
Reservations are required to the event, which costs $75 per single admission, or $65 per person for parties of four or more.
