BuppaLaPaloo is a mouthful to say, but he also has a few things to say himself. This white bear is a softie with embroidered hearts at each corner of his smile. He also has a red suede heart patch right in the center of his chest and a silver heart in the palm of each hand. Rub the white suede patch on his foot, encircled by black stitching, for a really soft sensation.
Buppa is the brainchild of Dee Wallace, actress and life coach (you may remember her as the mother of the children in the movie “ET”). Her bear is interactive and meant to teach children empowering thoughts. Just squeeze his right paw and he will recite fun statements to reinforce how special the child really is. He says things such as “love me!, I love my body!, I love to laugh!, I am so loved!,” all in Dee Wallace’s voice we might add.
This interactive toy works with the press of a paw.
We are told that her mission with this product is based on the fact that psychologists agree a child’s personality and basic life pattern is firmly embedded by the ages of 4-7. And that early childhood self-love is so vital to children because it is the core of how they interact with the world. Wallace believes that today’s children need to connect, feel empowered and be full of love!
Ms. Wallace earned her credentials from the University of Kansas and has worked as a teacher and as an intuitive life coach for over 30 years. Dee has expanded her love of teaching by sharing principles that empower people. She conducts daily private sessions, has a radio show and is the author of five books. Her work is based on the principles of accepting responsibility, and loving ourselves early in life to create the lives we desire.
BuppaLaPaloo launched successfully on Kickstarter, is hitting its goal and now is available online; he retails for about $29.95 and operates on 3-AA batteries (not included).
