In early 2016 the heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine, and the metalcore band Asking Alexandria are teaming up for a U.S. co-headlining tour. They announced their British Invasion Tour yesterday (Sept. 21) in a press release, and it is set to kick off next year on Feb. 2 in San Diego with their co-headlining concert at the House of Blues.
Asking Alexandria seem to have been touring non-stop over the last year. They were part of this summer’s Vans Warped Tour, and in just over a week they will begin their month long European headlining tour. All of this touring is in support of their third album From Death to Destiny, which came out back in 2013.
Bullet for My Valentine will be co-headlining the early 2016 British Invasion Tour to support their album Venom, which was released last month on Aug. 14 via RCA Records. That album landed at No. 3 on the U.K. Albums Chart, and at No. 8 in the states.
Both Bullet for My Valentine and Asking Alexandria went through a lineup change this year. Asking Alexandria’s lead vocalist Danny Worsnop departed the band, and Denis Stoff took his place. This year Bullet for My Valentine’s bass player Jason James parted ways with the band, and Jamie Mathias took his place.
Tickets for Bullet for My Valentine and Asking Alexandria’s early 2016 British Invasion Tour go on sale Sept. 25. Once they go on sale, tickets for all concerts can be bought via the tour page on Asking Alexandria’s website. There will be opening bands at all concerts, but they have yet to be announced.
