Bobbi Kristina Brown received a two-hour visit June 28 from family friend Tyler Perry. Bobbi Kristina, who was moved to the Peachtree Christian Hospice near Atlanta, Georgia, on June 24, now lingers near death after being taken off life support and all medications except for pain-relief drugs.
Perry, 45, has remained in contact with the Brown and Houston families ever since Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized. Tyler, a longtime friend of the late Whitney Houston, even flew Bobby Brown to Atlanta in his private jet shortly after Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized in late January.
“Tyler was absolutely shocked by the news,” a source told Us. “He heard the news and immediately offered Bobby Brown a flight in his private jet.”
Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Pat Houston, said the hospice move was necessary because Bobbi Kristina’s health has been rapidly deteriorating. Sources said Bobbi Kristina’s organs were failing during the past few weeks after she suffered irreversible brain damage.
The move to hospice care means Bobbi Kristina will be allowed to die naturally, while great care is taken to ensure she’s not in pain as she nears death.
“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate,” her aunt Pat Houston said in a statement. “She has been moved into hospice care. She is in God’s hands now.”
Hospice care focuses on easing a terminally ill patient’s last days before death. Hospice care can last days or weeks.
Bobbi Kristina, who has been unconscious since Jan. 31, suffered irreversible brain damage and will never be the same, said her grandmother, Cissy Houston (the mother of Whitney Houston).
“She’s the same, she’s not progressing at all,” said Houston, 81. “There’s still not a great deal of hope.” Cissy is still hoping for a miracle, but said she’ll be at peace if Bobbi Kristina dies.
Nick Knocked Out Bobbi’s Front Tooth, Stole Money From Her
As Bobbi Kristina’s family and friends gather to say their last goodbyes, a criminal investigation is mounting against Bobbi’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon.
According to the bombshell book, Whitney & Bobbi Kristina, Gordon had physically and emotionally abused Bobbi Kristina throughout their relationship.
The book claims Nick had knocked out Bobbi Kristina’s front tooth after punching her in the face. Gordon also kept Bobbi Kristina high on drugs and stole money from her.
“This is a clear-cut case of negligence, of abuse, of foul play,” said author Ian Halperin. “And right now, Nick Gordon is shaking in his boots. I have spoken today to members of Bobby Brown’s family, and they want justice immediately.”
The book continues: “They had joint accounts. Nick insisted on it. There were fancy cars. There was fancy jewelry. There were trips. We won’t know until a proper investigation is done.”
According to “Whitney & Bobbi Kristina,” Gordon was a destructive influence on Bobbi Kristina, and enabled her drug addiction. “I have incontrovertible evidence the last few months they were together, they were on drugs almost all the time,” said Halperin. “It’s just proportion to heights nobody could even imagine. It was a ticking time bomb.”
When Whitney Houston died in 2012, she left her $20 million estate to Bobbi Kristina, her only child. Whitney’s will stipulated that if Bobbi Kristina died, the estate would pass to her mom, Cissy Houston, her brother Gary Houston and his wife, Pat.
Bobby Brown, who divorced Whitney Houston in 2007, gets nothing from Bobbi Kristina’s estate. All of Bobbi Kristina’s medical bills are being paid through her trust, which is dwindling (this means the Houstons’ inheritance is getting smaller every day she’s alive).
Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22, has irreversible brain damage since being found face down in her bathroom Jan. 31. While Bobbi may be able to live a long life despite the extensive brain damage, experts say a full recovery is impossible.
