Family and friends have been gathering to say their goodbyes to the 22-year-old at her Atlanta-area hospice care facility on as Bobbi Kristina’s health continues to deteriorate.
As previously reported, Bobbi Kristina was transferred to hospice on Wednesday after her conditioned began to worsen. Last Wednesday Bobbi Kristina’s family made the hard decision takes Bobbi Kristina off of all drugs and machines that have aided in keeping her body alive for the past several months so that she may die naturally and peacefully.“They’re not sure how long that will take, but that is what they are doing.” Brown’s aunt Pat Houston confirmed that the 22-year-old’s condition “has continued to deteriorate,” adding that she’s “in God’s hands now.”
Visitors staying close by Bobbi Kristina included her aunt Pat Houston – who is married to Whitney’s brother Gary and serves as her legal joint-guardian – and Bobby’s sister Tina Brown. The women were seen embracing each other outside the care facility, crying in what was clearly a very emotional moment. Cissy Houston recently spoke out revealing how difficult it has been for the family to come to terms with Bobbi Kristina’s condition. In light of new developments in Bobbi Kristina’s accident case, the District Attorney’s office announced they will review the Jan. 31 incident that left Bobbi Kristina incapacitated.
The D.A.’s announcement, which was in reference to the investigation by the Roswell Police Department, came a day after her court-appointed conservator filed a claim alleging that her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, caused “substantial bodily harm” and stole $11,000 from the star. Brown’s family though accepting of her present condition have revealed they still remain hopeful. “A miracle could still happen,” a Brown family source told PEOPLE soon after Bobbi Kristina was moved into hospice care.
