It was not a surprise to family and fans of Bobbi Kristina Brown to hear the news of her death, in fact it has been expected for some time according to a Monday, July 27 report from Radar Online. Bobbi Kristina’s family were at her side at the moment of Bobbi’s passing. Bobbi’s final moments were described by a close family source revealing that the family serenaded Bobbi with Bible verses at the Atlanta Hospice center.
As Bobbi Kristina’s life drifted from her body Bible verses relevant to the situation, including Psalms 23’s “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want,” were being read. Family members stated that there was a strong spiritual presence of Whitney Houston in the room summoning Bobbi Kristina. Bobbi died at 8:17 p.m. Sunday evening. At the moment of her death family members were said to be chanting “Hallelujah” over and over.
Funeral arrangements have been revealed by Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt and uncle Pat and Gary Houston. Bobbi’s funeral will be held on Thursday in Atlanta. The grieving family stated they will try to make the service a celebration of her life. The preliminary autopsy revealed that there are no obvious signs someone tried to kill Bobbi Kristina. The Fulton County Medical Examiner stated “no obvious underlying cause of death.” The Medical Examiner goes on to say, “no significant injuries were noted.”
This could possibly be the news that Nick Gordon has been waiting for. But until the official autopsy and cause of death are revealed nothing is for certain. The Houston/Brown family also revealed that Bobbi Kristina was on the verge of going to rehab before she was found face down in a tub Jan. 31 and stressed that she didn’t want partner Nick Gordon around for it.
As for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s estate left to her by her mother Whitney Houston. This gets a little trickier because not only did Whitney leave a few stipulations to the estate, Bobbi Kristina’s will has become void. So who will control the estimated millions Houston left in a trust for Bobbi Kristina? Bobbi Kristina Brown’s fortune will be cut up between her grandmother Cissy, and other relatives.details come from the will left by Bobbi Kristina’s late mother Whitney Houston, who included classified directions in the 22-year-old document as to how she wanted her estimated $20 million in wealth distributed if her daughter died before she did.
The will, which was drawn up in February of 1993 — 10 years before the death of her father John, and 13 years before her divorce from Bobby Brown — left a series of specific instructions as to how the fortune would be doled out. (The death and divorce terminate any agreements made forth in the document.) The financial document also set forth timetables that were not reached, with Bobbi Kristina dying at such a young age: She took 10 percent of the estate’s value last year after turning 21, and would have received about 17 percent when she turned 25, and 100 percent of the remaining balance when she turned 30. Since Bobbi’s passing, this is not the case.
According to Houston’s will, “If Bobbi Kristina were to die unmarried, without children of her own and had left no will and testament of her own, the estate would be divided among Whitney’s living relatives,” Gaynes told TheWrap. Cissy Houston, Michael Houston and Gary Garland would be set to receive an estimated $18 million. Many lawyers will be involved coming in from all directions of both the Houston and Brown family members. It is hoped that in Bobbi Kristina’s passing a family war will not break out over the estate. Money does crazy things to people, time will reveal all.
Who do you believe will come out on top with Whitney Houston’s estate now that Bobbi Kristina Brown has died?
