Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away at the age of 22. According to CNN, July 27, 2015, Bobbi Kristina left this world surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Bobbi Brown and the late Whitney Houston. The Houston family released a statement to E!, “She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
On January 31, 2015, Bobbi Kristina was found facedown and unresponsive in her bathtub by her friend Max Lomas. While Max dialed 911, her unofficial husband Nick Gordon administered CPR. She was transported to the North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia. They placed her on a ventilator. They pronounced her brain dead, so the family moved her to the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Doctors placed her in a medically induced coma. Approximately three weeks later, they weaned her off the coma medication, but it didn’t work to see if her body would respond. This caused her body to go into seizures. Around the third week of March, the Brown and Houston family moved her to rehab. It was during that time, her family made the painful choice to take her off the coma medication and allow her body to shut down naturally. The moved her to the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Georgia, so she could pass away at her own time.
An autopsy will be conducted. However, they may not find much because of the length of time that passed from her initial accident on January 31 until the day she passed away, July 26. The police are still investigating the reason why Bobbi Kristina was found face down in a bathtub full of water in the first place.
Our thoughts and prayers go out for the family and friends of Bobbi Kristina Brown.
