It is coming to the point where the networks will be announcing which shows will be canceled and which have been picked up for a second season. ABC has had pretty touch luck with the fall 2015 line-up. “Wicked City” was canceled almost immediately after it began airing. According to a report from E! Online on Monday, there is still no word on “Blood & Oil.” Fans have been waiting on news since it was announced that the season was trimmed down.
“Blood & Oil” seemed to be doing well among watchers, especially because it was placed on Sunday night. “Quantico” is likely to get picked up for a second season, and fans can’t understand why “Blood & Oil” has not been spoken for yet. There are several story lines which can expand beyond the initial 22 episodes of a typical season. Other networks have made their decisions but it seems ABC is dragging their feet. Frustrated fans want answers and if the show is canceled, fans may decide to dump the network completely.
If this show is indeed canceled, expect a serious outcry. Several of the stars have a serious fan following, not to mention the newer ones have been seeing high praises across social media. “Blood & Oil” offers something for everyone; family, drama, and love. While fans wait to hear the official network call, they are still tuning in every time the show airs. Last night was the first night back after the fall break, but it is almost time for the winter finale. Will “Blood & Oil” return after the holidays, or will it be dropped immediately?
