Have you heard the big holiday news? ‘Tis the season – the shopping season, that is. Retailers around the country are gearing up for the busiest shopping day of the year. While Black Friday officially begins on Nov. 27, 2015, some retailers have already begun slashing prices for the holidays with some pretty terrific steals-and-deals. And according to a Fortune report published on Nov. 14, electronics are expected to be hot ticket items once again.
Whether you are on the hunt for great deals on televisions, tablets, electronic gadgets, sparkling gems, toys, household goods, tools or clothing, now is the time to plan your shopping strategy. But with so many retailers, it’s hard to keep track of which stores will open when. The Black Friday 2015 Holiday Shopping Guide is here to help!

Black Friday 2015 Store Hours
Bass Pro Shops – This retailer will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Doors will open again on Black Friday at 5 a.m.
Bed, Bath & Beyond – Speaking of bed, you can sleep in this year. Bed, Bath & Beyond will be closed Thanksgiving Day.
Bergner’s – While you can shop online all day long, stores open at 5 p.m on Thanksgiving Day. Doorbusters will be available until 3 p.m on Friday.
Best Buy – While hours may vary at some locations, most Best Buy stores will open at 5 p.m. local time on Thanksgiving Day until 1 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, 2015. Most stores will then reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday morning and remain open until 10 p.m. Friday.
Big Lots – Big Lots will have three days of big sales. Certain locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day – others will be open from 7 a.m through midnight. Stores open again at 6 a.m. on Friday and again at 7 a.m. on Saturday.
Carson’s – Doorbuster deals are going on every day through Black Friday – while supplies last. While you can shop online all day long on Thanksgiving, stores will open on Thanksgiving Day at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Costco – Why wait until Black Friday when you can start saving early during their Pre-Holiday Savings Event which takes place on Nov. 20. Stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Black Friday hours will kick off at 9 a.m. on Nov. 27, 2015.
Fred Meyer – This retailer will open at 5 a.m. on Black Friday and remain open through 1 p.m. Early birds may even get a chance to enjoy free coffee and donuts.
GameStop – Attention gamers. GameStop will be closed on Thanksgiving this year. Doors will open on Friday at 5 a.m.
Home Depot – In the market for a new fridge or stove? Black Friday prices – up to 40 percent off on appliances – are going on now. This retailer will also be closed Thanksgiving Day. It will open the doors on Friday at 6 a.m.
JCPenny – While you can shop all day long online on turkey day, this retailer will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 3 p.m. all the way through Black Friday at 2 p.m.
Kohl’s – Touting the “best Black Friday ever”, Kohl’s will also be open on Thanksgiving Day. While hours may vary by location, most doors open at 6 p.m. But you don’t have to wait. You can start shopping for steals-and-deals online on Nov. 23, 2015.
Lowe’s – Lowe’s will be closed for Thanksgiving Day.
Macy’s – Macy’s is kicking off the holiday season early with its Holiday Kick-Off Sale going on right now. Doors will also be open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day this year. Black Friday at Macy’s will take place from midnight all the way to 1 p.m. on Friday.
Meijer – This retailer will open bright and early on Thanksgiving Day. Doors open at 6 a.m.
Petco – Petco will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
PetSmart – Don’t forget Fido and Fluffy this year, folks! While you can shop online on Thanksgiving Day starting at 7 a.m., doors won’t open until 7 a.m. on Black Friday morning. And the first 100 customers walking through the doors will get a free movie rental or print ornament. Sweet!
Sears – Sears locations will open Thanksgiving evening at 6 p.m. and remain open until 2 a.m. Friday “where permitted by law.” Doors will open again a few hours later at 5 a.m. on Black Friday.
Staples – Staples will be closed on Thanksgiving Day but will open its doors at 6 a.m. Friday.
Target – Target locations will also be open on Thanksgiving Day. Doors open at 6 p.m.
TJ Maxx – TJX stores will be closed on Thanksgiving.
Toys R Us – If you have little ones in the family, Toys R Us is a must. Doors open at Toys R Us at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
Walmart – The world’s largest retailer will kick off their famous Black Friday deals in many retail stores at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Online sales take place all day long on Thanksgiving.
