After the Black Friday long holiday shopping weekend with Small Business Saturday on the day after Black Friday, Cyber Monday will hit. Cyber Monday is the online version of Black Friday and deals may be just a great, if not greater then on Black Friday. This leaves many Americans wondering which is better: Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
One of the great things about Cyber Monday is that you don’t have to wait in line for hours on Thanksgiving day to get the best deal and you can do it from the privacy of your own home or at work. The items that many stores have on sale for Black Friday are different than what they will have on sale on Cyber Monday, but many retailers will also have the same items on sale at the same prices.
To make matters even better, most retailers will also offer free shipping on Cyber Monday (some may require a minimum purchase). But with this, you can get the same exact price you would get in the store. Walmart is offering most of their Black Friday sales on their website beginning early on Thanksgiving day.
Saturday, USA Today money expert Matt Granite shared a short video about the myths of Black Friday, and in it he states that unless you are buying a TV, large appliances, or gaming equipment…the deals won’t be better on Black Friday. In fact, many companies will have better deals on Cyber Monday.
We live in an age of the Internet and unless you just love the rush of getting up early and camping out in a tent for several days…there isn’t a lot of sense of waiting in line to purchase something. Especially when it can be had for the same price a few days later and it will still arrive by Christmas.
Target’s Black Friday ad includes a doorbuster for an HD Video Drone for $349.99. In addition to the sale items, Target is also offering $10 off a $50 purchase, or $25 off a $100 purchase with the promotional code HOME. To read more about the Target Black Friday sale, click here.

But as long as millions of people around the United States go to the stores during these early shopping hours, then the stores will be open.
