The 2015 Windows 10 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race is taking place this Sunday on August 2, 2015, at the Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. Race time is set for 1:30 pm EDT. Here is a list of the betting odds for NASCAR drivers to win the Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway.
In addition to the win betting odds for each NASCAR driver this week, I’ve also listed how many times each driver has won this season, how many wins each driver has in this race, and how many total wins each driver has at Pocono Raceway. I’ve also listed the career NASCAR Sprint Cup racing stats for most of the drivers especially the ones with very few wins. Good luck to all the NASCAR drivers and bettors this week at Pocono Raceway!
1. Kevin Harvick – 4 to 1 odds
At odds of 4 to 1, Kevin Harvick is the betting favorite to win the Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway this week. Harvick has been the betting favorite in many races this year but he onlt has two wins this season which both came early in the year at Las Vegas and Phoenix. Kevin Harvick has yet to win a Sprint Cup race at Pocono.
2. Kyle Busch – 6 to 1
As I said last week before the Jeff Kyle 400 at the Brickyard, if anybody had been cashing bets on Kyle Busch for the previous two weeks they might as well go ahead and bet him again at 10 to 1 odds. This week Kyle Busch is 6 to 1 to win for the third week in a row and the fourth week out of five. I’d keep rolling the dice if you’ve been cashing on him otherwise I’d stay away. Kyle Busch has never won a Sprint Cup race at Pocono.
T-3. Jimmie Johnson – 7 to 1
Jimmie Johnson has wins this season at Atlanta, Kansas City, Texas, and Dover. Jimmie Johnson has one win in this race (2004) and three overall wins at Pocono with his last win coming in 2013. I’d say Jimmie Johnson is just about due for another win but you can never really get great odds on him.
T-3. Martin Truex, Jr. – 7 to 1
Martin Truex, Jr. is probably low odds this week because he already won at Pocono in 2015 at the Axalta 400 in early June. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. swept the two races at Pocono last year and obviously the odds makers think Martin Truex Jr. has a good shot to do the same this year. His win at Pocono in June was Truex, Jr.’s only win this season and his only win over the track.
5. Kurt Busch – 8 to 1
Kurt Busch has wins this season at Richmond and Michigan. Unlike his brother, Kurt Busch has won races over the track as he’s won this race twice (2005, 2007) for two wins at Pocono. For his NASCAR career, Kurt Busch has won 27 Sprint Cup races in 524 starts.
T-6. Brad Keselowski – 10 to 1
Brad Keselowski has one win this season which came way back in March in California. Keselowski won this race in 2007 for his only Sprint Cup win over the track. For his career, Brad Keselwoski has 17 wins in 217 NASCAR Sprint Cup starts.
T-6. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. – 10 to 1
As mentioned above, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. swept the two races at Pocono Raceway last year. Prior to 2014, Junior had never won at Pocono so those two wins must have been pretty special. On the season, Junior has two wins which came at Talladega and Daytona. For his career, Junior has 25 wins in 561 starts.
T-6. Denny Hamlin – 10 to 1
Denny Hamlin is 10 to 1 odds to win at Pocono this week. Hamlin won at Martinsville this season and he also won the NASCAR All-Star Race. Denny Hamlin has two wins in this race (2006, 2009) and four total wins over the track. His career stats are 25 wins in 346 starts.
T-6. Jeff Gordon – 10 to 1
Jeff Gordon leads the pack this week with the most overall wins at Pocono with six. Two of his wins (1998, 2012) came in this race. His other wins here were in 1996, 1997, 2007, and 2011. Jeff Gordon has no wins so far in his last full season in NASCAR. His career stats are 92 wins in 781 starts.
T-6. Joey Logano – 10 to 1
Joey Logano won the first race of the season at the Daytona 500 and has not won a race since. Logano has never won this race but he did win over the track in 2012. His lifetime stats are nine wins in 239 NASCAR Sprint Cup starts.
11. Matt Kenseth – 15 to 1
Matt Kenseth has one win this season which came in April at Bristol. Matt Kenseth has never won a NASCAR Sprint Cup Race at Pocono Raceway. In his NASCAR Sprint Cup career, Matt Kenseth has won 32 races in 564 starts. He has not won many races over the last couple of years.
12. Kasey Kahne – 18 to 1
Kasey Kahne is still looking for his first Sprint Cup win in 2015. Kahne won this race in 2013, and he has two total wins over the track in Sprint Cup races. For his career, Kasey Kahne has eight wins in 209 starts. He has won only one race since 2008, though, which makes him a tough bet here.
13. Carl Edwards – 20 to 1
Carl Edwards one win this season came at Charlotte in May. Edwards won this race in 2008, when he had nine total wins for that year. Carl Edwards also won a race at Pocono in 2005 for two total wins over the track. For his career, Carl Edwards has 24 wins in 393 starts.
14. Kyle Larson – 25 to 1
Kyle Larson is still looking for his first career NASCAR Sprint Cup win. Obviously, he’s never won a Sprint Cup race over the Pocono Raceway track. His start in the 2014 Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway will be the 60th of his career (this is his third season).
15. Jamie McMurray – 40 to 1
Jamie McMurray has not only not won a race this season, he’s not won a NASCAR Sprint Cup race since 2013. For his career, Jamie McMurray has seven wins in 458 starts. He won three races in 2010 and has never won more than one race in any season other than that one year. Jamie Mcurray has yet to win a race at Pocono Raceway.
16. Tony Stewart – 50 to 1
Tony Stewart has not won a race in 2015 and he also has not won a Sprint Cup race since 2013. Stewart has never won this race but he has won twice over the track in 2003 and 2009. For his NASCAR Sprint Cup career, which started in 1999, Tony Stewart has won 48 races in 574 starts.
T-17. Austin Dillon, Clint Bowyer, Paul Menard, Ryan Newman – 100 to 1 odds each
None of these four drivers have won a race this season. Only Ryan Newman out of these four drivers at 100 to 1 odds each this week has ever won this race or ever won a race over the track. Newman’s sole win here was in 2003. Newman has won 17 races in 496 starts. Austin Dillon has yet to win a race in 69 career starts. Menard has one win in 311 starts and Bowyer has eight wins in 345 starts.
T-21. David Ragan, Greg Biffle – 200 to 1
David Ragan has no wins this season and he’s never won at Pocono. Ragan has two career wins in 310 starts. Greg Biffle won the Sprint Showdown this season at Charlotte. Biffle also won this race in 2010 for his only win over the track. He has 19 career wins in 458 starts.
T-23. A.J. Allmendinger, Aric Almirola, Casey Mears, Danica Patrick, Ricky Stenhouse, Sam Hornish, Trevor Bayne – 500 to 1
None of these seven NASCAR drivers at 500 to 1 odds this week have won a race this season. In fact, the most races any one of these drivers has ever won in NASCAR Sprint Cup competition is one. A.J. Allmendinger (one win 247 starts), Aric Almirola (one win 163 starts), Casey Mears (one win 436 starts) and Trevor Bayne (one win 78 starts) have each won once. Danica Patrick (0 for 102), Sam Hornish (0 for 151), and Ricky Stenhouse (0 for 96) have never won. At least Danica Patrick is hot.
- Field of all other drivers – 300 to 1
