It will be “Worse Than a Crime” to miss Monday’s fall finale of “Gotham”, as Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) must form an unlikely alliance with Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) to save the life of young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), the “Son of Gotham” that is destined to rise as the Batman. Joining in Gordon and Penguin in this “battle of the villains” are Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue), Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) and Selina Kyle (Carmen Bicondova), who will rise as the Catwoman: the ally/enemy who is destined to be the true love of both Bruce Wayne and Batman.
But what’s even worse than missing this episode is missing an exclusive peek into the upcoming “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” with Ben Affleck as the brooding Dark Knight. This marks the Oscar winner’s return to the superhero genre since the mixed response as Marvel’s “Daredevil” back in 2003. Hell’s Kitchen blind attorney Matt Murdock and Gotham City billionaire Bruce Wayne are one and the same: a man without fear, a masked vigilante who seeks justice where the law is sometimes not enough, a lone crusader who wants to make a difference because he’s trying to save his city. Batman’s rogue gallery of villains includes Penguin, Riddler, the Joker, Catwoman, Two-Face, and Ra’s al Ghul, while Daredevil’s gallery of villains includes Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Bullseye, and on/off soulmate Elektra.
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice”, which also stars Henry Cavill as Superman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, comes out on March 25, 2016.
