This is not the first Bobby Flay’s Burger Palace, in fact, it is the 19th, the fourth in Maryland but it is the first in Baltimore. The Food Network culinary star Bobby Flay has created each burger at Bobby’s Burger Palace as a tribute to numerous American cities, highlighting the regional flavors. The cooked-to-order burger can reflect notable regional foods like the Philadelphia Burger with provolone cheese, griddled onions and hot peppers, the Carolina Burger with smoked American cheese, green onion slaw and mustard, BBQ sauce, or the Dallas Burger, a spice crusted burger with coleslaw, Monterey Jack cheese, BBQ sauce and pickles.
Any burger can be Crunchified by topping any of the BBP burger with chips, for those who can’t pick up the chips with one hand and eat the burger with the other. Seems like a kid’s food that has grown up appeal. I shouldn’t comment until I Crunchify a BBP burger.
Onion Rings and Hand-Cut Fries, the ever popular burger accoutrements come fresh from the fryer with the BBP special sauce; a blend of mayonnaise, roasted red peppers, chipotle peppers and spices. The Buttermilk Onion Rings are a new offering just in Baltimore and Cherry Hill locations. Burgers range from $6.95 to $7.95 and there is the Kid’s BBP Burger Deal available.
Back- in-the-day beverages like milkshakes and malteds in fruit flavors such as Coconut, Mango and Blueberry-Pomegranate and the traditional Vanilla and Dark Chocolate can round out your meal. Be fair warned they use 11 ounces of premium ice cream in each one.
The 65 seat restaurant has a serpentine counter with 42 seats along with communal tables and al fresco dining for 24. This Bobby’s Burger Palace is located in Towson Square, the multi complex entertainment center with the 15 screen Cinemark Theater. It joins other restaurant like Bonefish Grill, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, Hanabi Japanese Restaurant, Nando’s Peri-Peri and others.
For the “I got to get going crowd” – one can order online or come in and place your carry-out orders.
More than a fast casual style restaurant, it is more stylized and views itself as a true restaurant.
Parking will be validated for the parking lot across the street on Virginia Avenue or park underneath the cinema for $2 for two hours if validated at the cinema.
