B.B. King’s daughters Patty and Karen Williams have accused their late father B.B. King’s business manager of poisoning their late father according to a Monday, May 25 report from Gossip Cop. King’s daughters are convinced that their fathers manager Laverne Toney and assistant Myron Johnson are guilty of killing their father B.B. by poisoning him to death.
The Williams’ sisters are positive that one way or another Toney is responsible for their father’s death. In the past they have accused Toney and her assistant of elder abuse and of swindling more than $20 million from B.B.’s estate. The Williams’ sister have now filed court documents that state “I believe my father was poisoned and that he was administered foreign substances… I believe my father was murdered.”
It has been confirmed that an autopsy has been performed on the late B.B. King’s body, but the results will not be available for 60-days. On top of King’s daughters strong allegations it s also confirmed by the Las Vegas Police Department that the departments homicide detectives are looking into the case also. King, who died on May 14 at the age of 89 will be honored in two memorials later this week, one in Memphis, Tennessee, and the other in Indianola, Mississippi. Over the weekend a family-and-friends memorial was held in Las Vegas to commemorate King’s contributions to blues. The memorial was attended by Richie Sambora and Carlos Santana. Following B.B.King’s memorial service on May 30 King will be laid to rest in Indianola.
To date neither Toney, nor her assistant would comment on King’s daughters’ accusations. Toney and Johnson have lawyered up.Their lawyers have stated that the Williams’ sisters’ allegations against Toney and Johnson have stated that are untrue and that King was properly cared for. His daughters said, before their father had died, Toney had blocked access to their ailing father up to his death, the Williams’ were only given approval to see King on a Saturday. Sadly, they never got to see their father before he died but were called the Thursday before with the news that their father had died in his sleep.
B.B. King’s daughters however, are not giving up on the case without a huge fight. Coincidentally, Toney was named executor of King’s estate and stands to inherit millions of dollars. Patty King and Karen Williams, are two of B.B. King’s surviving 11 children who aim to get significantly less from their father’s estate if the Toney is found innocent of their murder accusations.
