Anonymous is using every hacking ability they have in their arsenal and then some to take down ISIS after they killed all those innocent people in the Paris attacks. So what can a group of hackers do you ask? ISIS is communicating with each other while planning these types of attacks. Once Anonymous gets a handle on the social media sites or any other website that they use to do this, they will expose them. Then they knock them into cyber space oblivion!
According to News Oxy on November 16, after the Charlie Hebdo attacks back in January Anonymous published a list of Twitter accounts that they claimed were used to spread propaganda in support of ISIS. Now it is gunning for ISIS with all engines full speed ahead as some of these brilliant hackers are ready to expose the ISIS community via the online world.
MSN News today reports that “Anonymous declares war on ISIS after Paris attacks.” The Anonymous group claimed on Sunday that they had taken down over 2,000 ISIS-related Twitter accounts in “Operation Paris” (#OpParis). It is almost impossible to verify or track Anonymous’ movements, so this isn’t verified.
This group has come through with most everything they have said they were going to do in the past. So while their hacking periodically peeves off folks, these guys have been reliable and true to their word in the past, as far as anyone can tell.
The hacking group released a video of an Anonymous spokesperson in their signature Guy Fawkes mask speaking in French and vowing to take ISIS down. In the background of this video scenes of the horrific Paris attacks played. The spokesperson said:
“We are going to launch the most important operation ever carried out against you,” said the robed and masked figure. “War is unleashed. Prepare yourselves.” Then a number of these videos were released in different languages, like French, English and Italian.
In these videos the hackers conveyed they mean business. A statement they released said: “We are furious with the repeated slaughter of innocent citizens in the name of a peaceful religion, you clearly don’t respect you beliefs. And you clearly have no respect for human life and evolution. We are coming to get you, we will be hitting you harder than ever.”
Anonymous is threatening this hack attack on the heels of ISIS claiming responsibility for the Friday night terrorists attacks in Paris. These attacks had the world feeling vulnerable as Paris suffered the agony from the terrorists. The death toll in Paris currently stands at 129 and 415 people were hospitalize with 42 of those in the hospital listed in critical condition.
