The Amazon Black Friday 2015 deals week officially starts on Friday, Nov. 20 with the online e-tailer set to unveil different deals throughout the next weeks. In particular, it’s been reported that there will be a number of different LED HDTVs or Smart TVs on sale, as well as Amazon’s flagship products such as the Fire TV or Kindle e-readers. Customers will need to be quick though, as the deals won’t necessarily be shown via a sales flyer to give advance notice.
According to CNET.com in a Nov. 18 report, the e-tailer will offer sales in waves for the next week. Shoppers will want to keep checking the website, or use the Amazon mobile app for iOS, Android or the Fire operating system in order to be alerted to any particular sales items they might want to grab. The website plans to have 150 “Lightning Deals” which begin Thanksgiving Day and run through Dec. 9. There will also be 10 special “Deals of the Day” dropping as of midnight on Thanksgiving. Another 10 deals go live at midnight for Black Friday too.
So which items will be included in the sales? While the particulars of when they go on sale aren’t known, some of the best tech items have already been revealed. They’ll include the Fire 7-inch tablet for just $34.99, a drop of about $15, as well as the Fire TV for $25 off and Fire TV Stick for $15 off. The Kindle Paperwhite will go down by about $20, while Kindle for Kids Bundle will be $30 off. The Fire Kids Edition, regularly $100, will be marked down about $15 as well. Select Samsung Galaxy tablets will be 20 percent off.
A variety of smart TVs or LED HDTVs are also among the sales deals. For example, they’ll have a 50-inch 4K LED TV for $799.99, with the brand not yet revealed. A TCL 32-inch Roku Smart LED TV will be priced at a rock bottom $125, while a 55-inch version of the model will go for $348. A Hisense 55-inch 4K Smart LED TV will be $448, with another “unnamed” 50-inch 1080p LED TV set to go for $149.99. Both of these LED TVs will be “app-only” deals. There will also be up to 45 percent off select LG and Samsung TV sets including a 49-inch LG 1080p LED TV for under $370.
Prime members will be able to obtain the popular two-day shipping for a variety of in-stock items throughout the shopping season. Another incentive for some Prime customers shopping online this holiday season will be local “two-hour” shipping in select regions. These will include two-hour delivery for Prime members on “select Deals of the Day.” Only customers who hold Prime memberships in 20 select metro areas will have access to this option. Among them are Manhattan, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago.
