Pilgrim Festival Chorus continues to delivering challenging, joyous, and extraordinary concerts to the South Shore of Massachusetts! Helmed by Music Director William Richter, ‘Songs of War, Songs of Peace,’ James Whitbourne’s ‘Annalies,’ Carl Orff’s stirring ‘Carmina Burana,’ ‘A North American Christmas, and ‘A Ceremony of Carols’ are just a few of the acclaimed compositions Pilgrim Festival Chorus have performed. This dedicated group is looking for more members to join their winter production of ‘A Very British Christmas!’ Open auditions will be held on Monday, September 14 and Monday, September 21 at The Church of the Pilgrimage, 8 Town Square in Plymouth, Massachusetts at 6:30 p.m. From well-trained performers to amateurs who dream of taking the stage, all skill levels are encouraged to audition. Although these are open auditions, Pilgrim Festival Chorus has a particular interest in men’s voices, especially tenors.
At auditions, Music Director William Richter will provide information about Pilgrim Festival Chorus and immediately following the auditions, first rehearsals for their winter concert start at 7 p.m. ‘A Very British Christmas’ will be held on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6.
The Pilgrim Festival Chorus holds private and public concerts throughout the year. Rehearsals are held on Mondays from 7-9 p.m.
