The El Rey theater had the honor of hosting Grammy award winning group, All 4 One, as part of their 20+ tour, Saturday night, in Los Angeles. Fresh from a performance singing the national anthem at a Dodgers game the night before, the guys performed the songs that have reached over 22 million record sales worldwide. Their concert was sold out, with many of the group’s fans lining up outside the venue, to see these vocal powerhouses perform live. The show also featured a live band with equally talented musicians to accompany the group on stage as they breezed through their catalog of hits, which if even possible sounded better than the records. They performed their smash hits including “I Swear”, I can love you like that” and material off their new album including the new single “Baby Love”. One of the other incredible moments in the show was when actor, singer and comedian, Wayne Brady joined the guys on stage to sing “Beautiful As U”, which sounded nothing short of jaw dropping and powerful.
After an honorable 20 years in the music business, All 4 One audiences continue to be blown away hearing the incredible vocals of members; Jamie Jones, Delious Kennedy, Tony Borowiak and Alfred Nevarez, who are sounding better than ever. This group knows how to capture the hearts of their audiences known for their uplifting and inspiring lyrics, which today, seems like a thing of the past. What makes All 4 One’s songs so special to this day, is the fact that they can still manage to inspire the hopeless romantics of the world who still believe in true love and fairy tales. It was 1994, when All 4 One released their debut album which featured their number one hit single “I swear” which was played on every radio station across the world and remained on the Billboard Hot 100 for a staggering 11 weeks and 7 weeks on the UK singles charts. The song has also been recognized by ASCAP as being one of the greatest love songs of the 20th century which was a huge honor to receive. All 4 One have had a string of success with many other songs along the way including “Someday” from the Disney animated feature The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The group won a grammy award in 1995 for the Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for “I Swear”. Their other hit singles include “She’s Got Skillz” and “These Arms” to name a few.
