An Alan Thicke and Olivia Munn conflict has been set into motion this week following the latter star being a bit too vocal with her willingness to “kiss and tell.” It appears that the Dr. Seaver star is legitimately frustrated with the “Zoolander” actress following an ESPN show this weekend, saying that Munn called him an “old guy” who smelled too strongly of Old Spice back in the day. Perez Hilton News shares this Sunday, May 24, 2015, that their unlikely kiss took place way back in 2009, but Thicke apparently has not forgotten the slight against him.
Popular celebrities often have their little spats or verbal fights with one another, but quite a few fans are surprised to see there is potential drama between Alan Thicke and Olivia Munn this week. Thicke somewhat jokingly brought up his unexpected make out session with Munn a full six years ago during a funny skit on “Attack of the Show.” Instead of continuing on with their hilarious karaoke piece, they instead decided to lock lips at the time – quite intensely. Thicke opened up on the experience this week.
“A few years ago I was on the show that Olivia Munn started up. And we did a little sketch where we had a little kiss,” offered Thicke during the Highly Questionable program. “Later on I hear her on the Jimmy Fallon show complaining — the joke that I smelled like Old Spice, like an old guy … I thought we had a fun moment there! And then I hear afterwards that that’s the review I got!”
Perhaps Thicke’s confidence got a little bit ruffled by Olivia’s words. US Magazine offers a bit of an intriguing twist on this pop culture story as well this week. In an unusual (and somewhat humorous in itself) coincidence, both Munn and Isaiah Mustafa (who plays the unforgettable “Old Spice Man” in television commercials) actually played an identical CIA agent figure on “Chuck,” back in 2010, a brief NBC comedy. So while the 37-year-old actress apparently felt Alan smelled a bit too strongly of Old Spice, she certainly has had some interaction with the actor who tells people all about the aromatic scent.
What do you think of the Alan Thicke, Olivia Munn “kiss and tell” conflict this week? Is the drama being blown out of proportion or completely nonsensical in nature? It seems Thicke might have enjoyed their heated smooch, but Olivia was not feeling the same way about kissing a much older man. This may not be a serious feud, but it certainly may come as a surprise that even after all of these years, the male star still remembers his younger “flame’s” choice words about their oh-so-memorable kiss.
Quite a few readers are already sounding off on the so-called drama conflict between the two well-known stars. Although some commenters on source sites have said that Munn’s words on their lip locking session might not have been the kindest, others feel that Thicke is simply coming off as lecherous. After all, this is the man who openly admitted to having sex while listening to his famous son Robin Thicke’s hit song.
