“Follow me on…”
“Make sure to follow us here for…”
Why? What’s the point?
If someone on social media is already viewing a person or celebrity’s post, why should they have to go to another site and follow them there, as well? Isn’t their message already getting across to their target from the site they’re already on?
It’s understandable to see if a person is already an active member of a particular social media site, that they get the idea to follow a member or group from another social media site. Having too little interests can make for a very boring time online, but having too many interests can result in a cluttered and chaotic time online. Of course, different interests can be added or deleted at will, too. Just try to find a happy medium, and balance accordingly.
Definitely don’t fall for the scam pages which make you “Like” and “Share” them. There is no reason for any legitimate site or business to force you into doing that.
So, the next time you’re online and see the “Follow Me” phrase in any form, do the smart thing.
Follow your gut.
