A spooky Halloween show is being planned by Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre in Indy. For the first time at Beef & Boards, The Addams Family will be presented live on stage and will provide fun entertainment for the 2015 Halloween season, This Tony Award-nominated comedy, which includes lots of music, is based on the characters created by Charles Addams which inspired the television show that first aired in 1964. In this on stage show, Gomez Addams faces every father’s nightmare when his daughter, Wednesday, falls in love. What’s worse, she begs him not to tell his wife and her mother, Morticia. Everything will change for the family on the fateful night that they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
The Addams Family will be performed starting on October 8 and runs through November 22, 2015.
The evening (or matinee which makes a great day trip) begins with Chef Odell Ward’s delicious buffet. For this show the buffet will include hand carved roast beef, Chicken Coq au Vin, Blazin red fish, fettucini alfredo, lemon herb tilapia, baked potatoes, Harvest Blend Vegetables, Broccoli with cheese sauce and the fruit and salad bar. There is plenty to eat and guests are encouraged to back for more. For an additional charge fantastic desserts are also offered. You are given the choice of having dessert right after the meal or waiting until the show intermission. Unlimited coffee and tea is served to your table by friendly staff.
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre is located on the Northwest side of Indianapolis near the Pyramids at 9301 North Michigan Road. Tickets range from $40 to $60, and include Chef Odell Ward’s dinner buffet, coffee, tea and lemonade. Parking is always free.
