The apocalypse has come and gone. The living and the dead both roam the Earth. The dead are zombies and are protected by law from being killed. They walk past you almost not even knowing you are there. In other words these zombies don’t care about the living. There are large plots of land that have been set aside for them and most of the time that’s where they stay. From time time to time they come off these plots of land but they rarely interact with humans. They are more of an annoyance than anything else.
They continue to increase in numbers because when humans die they simply come back as zombies. The reservations are costly to keep up and humans are highly taxed because of it. The main character is a young man by the name of Clay (David Chandler). He trudges through his survival courses and lives life as best he can. Clay has a sister by the name of Mia (Eva Boehnke) who is still in love with her dead zombie boyfriend. She wants the old days to come back so she and her love could resume the life they lived together.
Clay takes his sister to the reservation where her ex-boyfriend stays but even this doesn’t help her move on. Clay tries his best to just live and survive but in the end it tears him apart seeing his sister pine for the dead boyfriend. It gets to him when he has to even come around the zombies. What happens next will scare you alive.
