On Friday the 22th of May in 2015 Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines hosted an exclusive FAM tour aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship docked at the Port of Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland. It was the biggest Familiarization Tour of this Summer with approximately sixty attendees scheduled. Who knew one cruise ship could hold so many adventure and fun. Talk about a memorable experience! Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines is a one stop shop for unforgettable views, swimming pools, movie theaters, shopping, video arcades, bars, lounges, spas, gyms, a main dining room and alternative dining restaurants.
The day conference took place from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. offering attendees insight into the way Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines spoil their guests via cruise vacations. Each attendee learned the ins and outs needed for cruise guests to make the most of their time and have a very enjoyable experience. Sidebar tip: Early arrival for ship departure seem to play a key role in jump starting a successful cruise experience.
The FAM tour began with a viewing of the sleeping quarters. I must admit the sleeping cabins range from very fabulous and elegant to simple and efficient. The most expensive room on the ship costs roughly $10,000 for a week which comes with a piano in the room, private full bar, fully furnished outside balcony, guest room, full living room and dining room and so much more. I should also add the amenities are off the chain for all attendees. Keep in mind they do offer budget friendly cruise ship options for everyday people. Sidebar tip: When seeking cruise ship booking options always book with travel agents that have the best amenities packages for your budget.
I have talked to a lot of people that have been on cruises for their honeymoon or took girl trips with friends. The message was always the same, “you eat and listen to great music for a whole week.” Let me be clear, you do not just listen to great music and eat on a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship. Nevertheless, musical entertainment and dining can play a big part in one’s cruise ship adventure.
What can cruise ship attendees look forward abroad the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship docked at the Port of Baltimore. Guests can receive personalized spa and relaxation treatments. They offer inside and outdoor pool experiences. There is a huge casino abroad the ship. I really enjoyed the fact that the lounge areas are super comfortable with lots of extra large sitting. The eye candy is amazing so much professional art all around the ship. Another favorite viewing point of mine was the huge movie theater with extra large sitting options. The bar lounges are breathtaking and cozy. There even have a children/teen arcade which has stylish lounge sitting and a mini movie area as well.
The coolest part of it all was the great opportunity to network with local area hospitality professionals including members of the Baltimore Area Concierge Association over a delicious lunch. Yep, all FAM attendees were rewarded with a four course fine dining experience as part of the Familiarization Tour. This was truly a rewarding experience and tour aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship docked at the Port of Baltimore.
