Sunday’s 49ers vs. Cowboys 2015 live stream and TV schedule game may only be a part of the NFL preseason slate, but will feature two teams that have shared a historic rivalry over the years. This particular game is their 15th meeting in the preseason, with their last meeting coming in 2009. San Francisco will be without several players dealing with muscle strains, while it’s likely that both the Niners and Dallas will be playing more of their backup personnel as opposed to starters. NFL live streaming online and TV coverage comes from a variety of sources Sunday night.
According to ESPN.com in their Aug. 23 pre-game report, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is expected to make his debut, albeit brief tonight. Since Dallas is without left tackle Tyron Smith, left guard Ronald Leary and right guard Zack Martin due to injuries, it’s expected that Romo will get a few snaps but will then be removed to prevent an injury during a game of little importance for the regular season or 2015-16 playoffs. The Cowboys will have Joseph Randle, Lance Dunbar and Darren McFadden available for the running back position, but it’s unknown how much they’ll play.
On the opposing side will be quarterback Colin Kaepernick who brought his team to the Super Bowl several seasons ago, but who has since faltered a bit in delivering on expectations. Most likely he will play up to a quarter of the game, with Blaine Gabbert and rookie Dylan Thompson also available to play QB. San Francisco is under brand new coach Jim Tomsula who is 0-1 so far in his preseason games with the Niners and this game has significance in that they’re still trying to work out some of the roster spots for the regular season.
Vegas odds makers have the spread around 4-1/2 points in favor of the 49ers, with the over/under set at 40 points for the game. In terms of moneyline prices, San Francisco is listed at a price of -200, while Dallas is +170 as the underdogs. For future odds, the Cowboys rank sixth overall in terms of having the best chance to win the SuperBowl with odds of 16 to 1. San Francisco is among the bottom eight teams on the list with odds of 100 to 1, which is tied with Chicago, Tampa Bay and the New York Jets.
