Almost everyone will have sugar, peanut butter and an egg on hand. That means you can grab a bowl, mix and put these cookies on a baking tray in minutes. Since they don’t contain added oil, you may want to work with some parchment paper or a quality nonstick pan. While peanut butter has it’s own oils, it isn’t always enough to prevent sticking when you are baking cookies.
Simply mix ingredients together in a bowl until they are all combined well. Form small 1″ balls and place a few inches apart on your baking sheet. You can then use a fork to make the criss cross pattern that is classic to peanut butter cookies. This is when the kids wash their hands and step in to help usually. 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Peanut Butter
- 1 Egg
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Stir the ingredients together until blended.
- Roll into 1″ balls with then press down with the back of a fork and then press again from the other side to form the criss cross pattern on top.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
- Allow them cool on the tray for a couple of minutes before moving to a wire rack to finish cooling.
