Now that everyone has returned home from their summer vacations and have had enough of the heat, it’s time to think towards autumn. A time when the temperature breaks and a venue exists where you can get any kind of food on a stick, preferably fried. With the 2015 edition of the Arizona State Fair being only two months away, one can start to taste those Texas sized maple bacon donuts and other culinary delights.
But as enticing as the State Fair food may be, what draws many to the Fair are the concerts held in conjunction with the Fair activities. This year’s lineup is once again stellar. For those who enjoy classic rock, check out these acts.
BRET MICHAELS, Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 7 p.m. The front man of Poison also has had a decent solo career. He returns to the Arizona State Fair to kick off its concert series.
MEAT LOAF, Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 7 p.m. He debuted like a bat out of hell and never looked back. This Texas born and sized singer is a perfect complement for State Fair over indulgence.
RICK SPRINGFIELD, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 7 p.m. He might just be a sideman to Meryl Streep in “Ricki and the Flash,” but he’s been headlining ever since he gave up being Dr. Noah Drake on “General Hospital,” and crooning that he wished he had Jessie’s girl.
SHERYL CROW, Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 7 p.m. A nine time Grammy award winner, all she wants to do is have some fun.
JACKSON BROWNE, Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at 7 p.m. Just in case you missed his sold out August show in Mesa, you get another chance to see this legendary singer/songwriter.
If your musical tastes go beyond classic rock, here is who else will be a part of the 2015 Arizona State Fair Concert Series

Reserved seats for the Arizona State Fair concerts go on sale at 10 a.m. on September 12, 2015 and can be purchased either online or in person at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum Box Office. You must also purchase a separate fair admission even if you have bought reserved seating.
