The Warriors will tip off their Western Conference Finals series against the Rockets at home Tuesday at 6 p.m. on ESPN. In fact, all games in this matchup are on ESPN, and every single one tips off just after 6 p.m.
In addition, each game takes place two days after the previous one, alternating with the Eastern Conference Finals, which tip off Wednesday. That means Rockets-Warriors Games 1 and 2 are Tuesday and Thursday, Games 3 and 4 in Houston are Saturday and Memorial Day, and, if needed, Game 5 here is a week from Wednesday. Game 6 in Houston would be Friday the 29th, and a Game 7 back here would be on Sunday the 31st.
Meanwhile, in the East, the Cavs will face the Hawks, with every game tipping off just after 5:30 p.m. on TNT. Each tip in this series also takes place two days after the previous one. Games 1 and 2 in Atlanta are Wednesday and Friday, Games 3 and 4 in Cleveland are Sunday and one week from Tuesday, while a Game 5, if needed, would be a week from Thursday in Atlanta. Game 6 in Cleveland would be Saturday the 30th, and a Game 7 back in Cleveland would be on Monday June 1st.
The West Series is available online at WatchESPN while the East is on TNT Overtime.
On radio, Games 2 and 4 and, if necessary, 5 and 7 will be heard on KNBR 680 AM. Games 1, 3, and, if needed, 6 will air on the other KNBR: 1050 AM. You know the drill, at KNBR, the Giants take precedence.
The Warriors swept the Rockets during the regular season, but this ain’t the regular season. As we learned in their series against the Clippers, you can never count the Rockets out.
